The Dream:
Outdoor Learning

The GIP Ocean Ambassador program is run in co-ordination with Leisure Activist Group.

A 38 ft double hull sailing canoe has now been acquired, in which we hope to  begin educational programs with the yacht as our floating classroom completely powered by clean renewable non-polluting energy.

With your support we can make this yacht available to various youth organizations throughout Polynesia and all who share the excitement in the land that invented sailing, water sports and navigation.

We’re ready to make a statement!

Our team is ready to show what is truly possible in combining natural energy with human endurance and ingenuity.

We are seeking $500,000 to support the vision of education, cultural exchange and support of the natural world through the example of sustainable practices that can be replicated in numerous contexts.

The plan is to travel the length from northern Tonga to the east coast of Australia (proposed landing point is Brisbane) unassisted by any environmentally harmful man-made products, while reviving an ancient Polynesian tradition.
